Chair Massage
Chair Massage, also known as Seated Massage, is the accountant’s friend. And the customer service representative’s friend. And the weary IT conversion team’s friend. Bottom line: When it comes to getting a 10-15 minute massage to perk up employees during a deadline, chair massage does the trick.
Companies often pay for this entirely or subsidize it as a way to reduce fatigue for employees. I am often doing chair massage in the weeks before tax deadlines or at the end of some impossible stat project.
Often I have a drawing for a 30-minute table massage at my office for a lucky employee. Some companies will award a one-hour table massage gift certificate for top performers.
